Cat 4 or 2 Cat 10's please help!!!!

I would definately go with the 2 cat 10's instead of the cat 4. You will probabely save some money going with the cat 10 that you can spend elsewhere onboard, plus you will have more room for all of you. The only thing that you are giving up is the verandah, you have to weigh how important that is to you.

Luv2Dream,
Please let me know how room # 8528 is. We are booked in #8028 right across the hall from you on a later cruise and I am concerned about noise.
Thanks!!

I would go definetly for the Cat 4 / Poly combo. I think with 2 kids under 5, you'll appreciate the 'cost' of convenience. The monorail is nearly worth it alone. And, I spent many afternoons on the verandah of my cat 4 when my DD was sleeping. I would not have been happy to spend the napping time stuck in a dark cat 10 watching TV while DD was sleeping. For me, the verandah and napping time was a great alone time for me!

We spent a day or so at the Poly and I wish I had MORE. It was great to not worry about bus / car transportation to MK.

If the kids were bigger my choice would probably be the 2 cat 10s, but for now, I'd go with the verandah.

You would be cramped in a cat 4- go with the 10's. We have stayed in both the last time in a 4 -because we brought a DF for my DD who was 11 and needed a little mo re room. To be honest it felt a little tight when we were all in the room.

Thanks for everyones help. I'm still not sure on what is best for us. I am however going to see if there is much difference in the price of a package vs paying seperately. I do know I really like convenience, so now I have to decide how much that is worth and what it is. Thank you again - Jaime

I cruised with my husband and 3 children in Cat. 4. We loved it and could never do anything less than cat. 4 now that we've done it. We were in 8084 and it was perfect, near the elevators, very quiet, no complaints at all. Good luck with your decision. You will have a blast no matter what you choose to do.

We're doing a 7 day cruise- but even if we weren't... we'd still do it seperately. We're doing WDW @ GF (convenience of monorail is a plus- but also the cost is not an issue since it's a short WDW trip instead of like 12 nights like our last trip- which we stayed at a value LOL) for a few days before the cruise and then 2 cat 9's (were going to go for adjoining nav. verandah rooms but they were taken already and we only want adjoined rooms because of the ages of our children at that time) on the cruise.
2 cat 9's are much cheaper than the one cat 4 room- and a lot more room! Verandah isn't that important to us- atleast not to pay that much extra just to have the murphy bed in the cat 4 prevent us from even using the verandah when the murphy bed is down...
If I were you- I'd price it all seperately- you may be able to do the Poly with 2 cat 10's (or 9's- not that much difference in price from 10's and you get a big porthole) for less than the one cat 4 w/poly. To do it all together isn't all that much convenience that I can see... atleast not worth hundreds of dollars.....

IMO get a 6 and a 10 which is still cheaper then a 4 and one of the rooms has a veranda. You can even get the rooms right across the hall. This is what we have for next year.
