I can't seem to find prices for the Category 2 staterooms anywhere. Does anyone know what the cost difference is between the 2 & 3. We are currenlty booked in a Category 3 for August and am wondering how much more a Category 2 would be (if it became available). Also, while we're asking, what does the Category 1 suite run?

Thanks!

The CAT 3 for 2 adults, 1 child, and one infant ran about $6500 to sail in early December, booking 18 months in advance. The CAT 2 for 2 adults and 2 children was quoted at about $9100 for mid November, booking 23 months in advance with the on-board booking discount (10%).

Not sure about the CAT 1, but I think I've heard in the $12K range for similar?

Both are inclusive of insurance & transfers. Neither were during any of the Nov or Dec "holiday" times with higher fares.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, it does!! Our category 3 for mid-August for 2 adults, 3 children is $5,100 with insurance, but no transfers. I was just trying to figure out how much more it would be to go with the Category 2 if it was availalbe and you've at least put me in the right ball park! Thanks

We got quotes for all three in Nov 2004 for Nov 2006 and found the cat 2 to be about an additional $2,500 for a family of 5 when compared the cat 3. I believe the cat 1 was very close in price to a cat 2, about $500. They are similar in size the difference is the way the room is laid out.

Our Cat. 2 (Jan 2006) is costing us $1300 more than our Cat.3 (Dec 2006) for 2 adults 1 child.
