We are planning a cruise for Christmas 2005 and have already faxed DCL requesting a category 3 room. Does anyone have any idea on a ball park figure for 2 adults and 2 children (4,6) on a holiday cruise. I remember getting an estimate using 2003 prices, but I cannot remember what it was. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can try plugging your dates into Travelocity.com and see what they come up with. Disney's price will most likely be higher than that.

Are you a 3/4 or 7 day cruise?

Our 4 day last year included a trip to WDW/Grand Floridian. This year we are on the Western: I believe with 2 adults, 3 children: almost 9 grand. I'll look at it when I have to pay it - it's sometime after Christmas ! ;)

This is cheaper then our WDW/4Day Cruise last year. We rebooked on board and are returning to a Cat 3.

I do have a quote for the Eastern 5-1-04 sailing, Cat 3 at $8766.75 Having been to Nassau 3 times already, we came home and changed our itinerary to the Western.

Others may help me out here, but it may not be terribly far off to take in consideration that during the Christmas time - you are looking to 9k to 10k? Is this peak time which would be higher? Others would know more about that.

(I could get my credit card statements out right now but during this holiday season - and our many mini vacations - it may be best to just leave them tucked away and look forward to our next sail date ;)

shelly3girls,

Just sent you a PM with cost of our upcoming cat 3 cruise

hope this helps

numbers are fresh in my mind as I just made my final payment last night. Kinda scary when I put it all down in writing, but I know this will be the vacation of a lifetime, what a sendoff for my DD17 who's off to college in the fall.

they are the only website I know of that has cat. 1-3 listed, (the ones they have available) that should give you a good idea.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I definitely have a great reference point now. We have been dreaming of this trip for quite some time and obviously still have plenty of time, but I am getting excited already!:bounce: :bounce:
