Cat 12 in Dec 2005???

Does anyone have any input on a gty Cat 12.
I would like to know if it is okay.
I am staying at the resorts for 8 days before this 7 night cruise and figured I'd do Cat 12 so my husband doesn't kill me.[/C OLOR]

If you don't plan on being in your stateroom much but to change and sleep, you'll be fine! If you plan on hanging out much then it's kinda small. it does depend if you are taking children as well. for 3 its not too bad for a younger child. I've had it for 2 of my cruises and was fine. I just want a place to sleep and change and enjoy the ship!!!!

I would think you would be fine too. You probably won't be in your room that much anyway. When are you cruising in December? We have a cruise meet thread for the Dec 10-17th Eastern. Come over and join us if you are cruising then.

We've been in an 11 or 12 several times. Of course, you don't have a romantic breakfast on the verandah.....but we spend very little awake time in our stateroom, so it is just fine. I did have a cat 6 once. That was in July (remind me to never cruise in July again.) It was 106 degrees the day we left Florida, and the verandah railing was so hot that you couldn't touch it. The only time it was worthwhile was to see the view of Castaway when we docked.

I've convinced my family that 2 cruises in a gty 12 is better than one cruise in a 6!
