Cat 11 vs 12 -- $?

Why are Category 11 staterooms slightly less expensive than Category 12 staterooms? The floor plans seem to be identical.

That seems strange to me. Why would someone pay more to stay on deck 2 vs. being able to stay on decks 5, 6, or 7?

DCL generally runs specials for the cat 11's (ie, $379/$399/$499 3/4 night cruises).

There aren't many cat 12's and that's probably why they run specials on the cat 11.

Am I wrong.... I thought the Cat. 12's didn't have the split bath...

I might be wrong though, just thought I read that somewhere. Anyone know for sure?

Usally 11's are more then 12's. Cat 12's are under the night club. I rather be in a cat 11.
