I think I am booking at Cat 11 for a March 2006 cruise.

I really can't spend anymore money, and am wondering if the cabin will be ok???

I would rather spend a few days before the cruise at WDW than pay for an upgrade in cabins.

Our kids are going to be 11 and 8, so I don't think we will spend much time in the cabin.

Has anyone else stayed in a cat 11 and found it to be ok?

thanks!

Hi, my family stayed in a Cat. 11 (6504) and we found it to be quite nice. Myself, DH and our two DD's 6 and 9. We also wanted to save money so we could splurge on other things. We wouldn't hesitate to do a Cat. 11 again. Remember: the bed lifts up to store luggage underneath which I completely forgot about until the end of the cruise!

My sister and her family (total 4) did cat. 11 and they were just fine. We have 3 and have used and booked (6-06) the same cat. 11 room 4 times. No problem!

We have stayed in a Cat 11 with no problem too and have it booked for our upcoming December cruise. I will take an over the door shoe holder his time but other than that - no problem.

Another family of 4..We stayed in a cat 11 on our first cruise. We knew nothing else, and loved every minute of everything (room included). We are now booked in a cat.11 for Sept, and that is after having a verandah last Sept.We are rarely in our rooms, and always want the cheapest one. Not to say we did not appreciate the balcony, we did. Just not enough to justify the expense (for our family). Go on, you will love just being on the boat.

Stick me in a broom closet, just get me on the boat. :earboy2:

Ditto! Echoing everyone else - we're a family of 4 and on our cruise last year - dd was 6 and ds 9. Our May 2006 cruise we booked a category 11 - we also don't care where we sleep just as long as we're on the boat. We were hardly in our stateroom except to sleep and change clothes. We can't justify the added expense of a higher category - although, if a category 1-3 were offered as an upgrade, I'm sure we wouldn't refuse it! :rotfl2:

I really appreciate everyones quick response....

I only have 3 days to convince hubby, and I know the higher prices would not help!

I have told him the deposit is refundable, so that helps.

Wish me luck!
