Hi-

Cruising for the very first time. Was wondering if anyone stayed in this area of the ship? Is there a door at the end of the hallway that leads out to the lifeboat deck? It seems like a very quiet part of the ship...

Was GTY and just got the assignment yesterday...

Any info you could provide would be great!

We also had a GTY for our last cruise and ended up with room 5137 which is right next door. I was worried about being so far aft but it turned out to be a great location. We will be requesting a room in that area again for our next cruise.

The only exit at the end of the hallway leads to crew only stairs. You will use those stairs to go down to Animators Palate for the lifeboat drill.

Because there is not public exit, the area is very quiet. But you may occasionally see kids from the club going down the hall in a group to use the back stairs.
