I would someday love to stay in a suite but noone every says how much they spent. Is there anyone out there that can tell me what it costs?

We are thinking about Cat 3, and someone just told me that they spent around $9000 total for their Cat 3 Eastern cruise.

Hope this helps,
RTM

For a quote, all one has to do is call DCL, they will give you one for the specific date you are looking for.

My first cruise I stayed in a Cat 3 and spent over $9,000.

My second cruise I stayed in a Cat 1 and spent over $12,000.

Next year I'll be in a cat 3 and will spend about $10,100, not including the ground fare, taxes and insurance.

But, again, the best way to get a better idea for a price is to call DCL directly.

Not Disney, but I'm in a 2 bedroom balcony suite on Royal Caribbean during peak season for $7700, not including a large rebate from the travel agent. That includes port charges and taxes.

Cat. 3, 4 day Wonder over Christmas next year: 2 adults only = $4133. booked through Costco. HTH

I lnow you didn't ask,

But we got TWO cat 9's (Connecting) for four people (DH, DW & DD's 13 & 16) for $6,000 over Xmas.

We get double everything, FOUR bathrooms, and complete privacy.

Just FYI

Hi Jim; That's this Xmas right and it is a special 10 day cruise right?

Love the new picture!! What fish is that and where was it caught?

Category 3 - 3 night with 3 adults, 2 children $5300

Category 3 - 4 night with 2 adults $3200

Booking two rooms will probably cost less, but you do receive concierge service when you're in a category 1, 2 or 3.

The price of the suites and any room depends a lot on when you book it. I paid $10,000 for a family of 4 in a Cat 1 that was booked 18 mths in advance (cruised Apr 2004) and when i inquired for my SIL about a Cat 3 60 days out on the same cruise for a family of 4 it was almost $12,000. To say the least, plan on paying over $10,000 for a family of four. If it is less, great. I can say it is all very much worth the cost particularly if you are a sort of laid back personality who enjoys the peace and quite of the room. I usually go out once or twice to sit on deck but hate trying to find deck chairs together, etc. I do enjoy napping on the large verandah in a lounge chair (Cat 1) and spending the afternoon reading a good book or magazine.
