trip is in 8 days, just curious if Cinderelas castle has opened back up for walk throughs?

No yet, but it hopefully should be by the time you are there. Dream Along with Mickey is dark until the 19th so I assume (and this is a big assumption based on nothing substantial other than the date) everything should be open at that time.
