Castle tour question

The castle tour is great because you go through a separate line and can take your time, let people pass, take pictures, etc. However, it doesn't go through the greenhouse part of the queue. If there is a time when the line isn't tremendously long, I would recommend also doing the full queue to get the full experience.

The interactive wand is a pretty neat souvenir/experience - you buy a wand and there are spots throughout the HP lands where you can use it to perform magic.

during mardi gras the only option was to go thru single ride line. it was backed up before greenhouse, we skipped it. Was told that's the new system. I hope the TM misspoke. Doesn't seem right if you just want to dawdle and look @ interior of castle imo.

We did the castle tour last Saturday early morning a little after regular hours started, probably around 9:10 or so. For our first HP visit, it was a great look at the castle without having to keep up with folks in the regular queu line.

No green house. We only saw that when we went through the full ride line later on. But I personally thought the greenhouse area wasn't that special--nothing like the interior areas of the castle you see on both the tour and in the ride line. To my recollection, the main thing missed on the (or at least our) castle tour is the sorting hat.

Cheers

When I did the castle tour, the Single Rider line was short and they were letting people walk up it to see the sorting hat. I had already ridden through the Single Rider Line so I didn't need to go up and look. But I'm sure that depends on the crowds.
