I got an email the other day stating passholders could get a tour of the castle suite on December 15. It can only be booked on line. When I call the passholder line the CM says they have no info for me to book online. My problem is my passes expire on November 22end. So I can not see the information online. We have a vacation planned December 20th that includes a day ticket. We are planning to just upgrade that so we won't be losing any money and that day ticket will just go as a credit towards our renewal. (we will still be within our 30 days so we still get the % off when renewing).

So my question is anyone know the details of this castle tour offer? Is it worth eating the day ticket and renewing early to get in on this castle tour offer?

Sorry if this has already been discussed. Thanks

I just went and looked and it is all booked. I widh I had know ahead of time as I will be there on that day, which is 12/15

There is no cost. You just have to have an AP. I got the email hours after it had become available for booking (like so many others here) and it was booked. However, I checked back the next day and was lucky enough to snag one 5:30 spot for myself and one 5:00 spot for my dd. I could not get one for my oldest dd or my dh. I'm thrilled about being able to see the suite, but I'm sad that the rest of my family won't be able to.

Does anyone know if they will allow people who couldn't get reservations to wait around to see if there are any no-shows? I would really like to take this tour.

DH also tried booking as soon as he gott he info and of course it was all booked.
I am going to guess/hope if they opened it to AP-ers maybe the GP is next. :confused3
Hope so for all, including DH.
I have been through twice and it is quite the sight to see. sigh...... :wizard:

The times I went I was in a group of approx 10, and there was always at least one tour guide per group.
I don't if there is an age limit. Guests are not seeing behind the scenes.

Here's a few photos:

sitting area. You can see these windows on the backside of the castle. Across from these windows is a video watching area.

Looking into the sitting area from the bedroom area. The three windows on the side in this view are three different windows that overlook the Liberty Square direction.
