I am thinking about taking my DD 5 to the castle for dinner when we first arrive at WDW. I know there are not any princesses at that time but thought that may be cool for her? I have never been in there so I do not know what to expect. Or should we just go to Chef Mickeys? (we have done that several times) OPinions? pictures? Thanks!!!

I have heard good things about dinner at Cinderella's Castle. Sometimes Cindy is in the lobby greeting fans. Also, if you want to see Princesses at dinnertime, Norway will have all three meals as Princess meals starting in April.

If the princesses aren't that important, and you don't want to spend the $$$ on CRT for dinner (it is pretty pricey) then Chef Mickey's is lots of fun, too.

1900 Park Fare in GF also has a Cinderella buffet dinner. It has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy, Perla and Fairy Godmother greets you in the lobby.

CRT is nice for atmosphere but since Cinderella isn't a guarantee for dinners there, I think your daughter would have a better time at Chef Mickey's. And last time we were at CRT the food wasn't that good. CM's is better, IMO :D
