Castle rehab through 10/10

I was called by Disney Photography and told the castle rehab starts 9/10 and ends 10/10. I am getting married 9/25 and had a photo shoot at the castle planned. Not sure yet if I am going to cancel.

Does anyone know what they are doing this time? I really loved what they did for this past celebration, I wish they would keep it.

Sorry about the timing for your wedding photos. I just read on another thread that the refurb won't end until early December.

Congratulations and have a happy day on the 25th!! Did they tell you how extensive the rehab will be or give you an idea if the pictures would still work out OK?

Ooh , I hope this is true. We arrive 10/28 and the castle is my DD's favorite place.

They are probably going to take down all the gold characters and trim on the castle and get it ready for the next promotion.

I heard (I think on another thread) That they are bringing in a crane on the 10th to take down the HCOE decorations. I think that goes through the 13th, then they are going to paint it and put in a bedroom suite or something. They did say that the work would be done after hours and the crane would be folded down behind the castle during operational hours, so you really won't see anything. It also sounded like there won't be any stage show after the 10th for a while. Hope that helps, but I wouldn't cancel my pics without getting more info from them. They should be able to tell you if the castle will be half painted on your date, or what is going to be going on at that time. Good Luck!!

I hope this info is correct. We are going for Thanksgiving and would love for the castle to be done by then.
