Castle photo bombs are SO not magical!

The crane tends to photobomb me a lot.

There's people really good with photoshop that could remove people from the background... Ask around and I'm sure you'll find someone who can do it!

DS accidentally photobombed a guy proposing in front of the castle 2 years ago. He felt really bad and asked just last week if we thought the people were still fussing about the photobomb. Lol

Some photobombs are unintentional. The guy "staring creepily" at your kid could have been snapped at just the right moment to make it look like he was staring her down, or he could have been looking at something just past/beside her. I suggest, as others have, that you learn to use photoshop...or vacation someplace less McStrangery.

One of our favourite pictures is a castle photobomb - the 4 of us in front of the castle and a few steps away is a kid, maybe 5 years old, adjusting her pants. I laugh every time I look at it ;)

I've never had a intentional photobomb, only accidental ones. If I ever had an intentional one I'd be absolutely livid. The unintentional don't bother me and as others said if I liked the picture I would edit it. But I would seriously go off on anyone I found doing it on purpose, that is so beyond rude and not in the least bit funny IMO.

I had so many unintentional photo bombs from my October trip (and one intentional one that is obvious) that I'm looking at photo editing software to remove them.

My old software is incompatible with windows 10 and I don't want a subscription type so it's taking me longer than expected to figure it out.

If you're talking about the Rose Garden, it used to be a perfect spot, but I believe it's gone now. And such a shame. It was a great place for crowd free photos on the busiest of days.

Is this what you mean is gone? If so that is too bad, we've had so many good pics there! Took this one last Christmas Day...

Also on the bridge just before Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. There is usually a photographer there and no one will be behind you, only castle.

But really, get the digital to a college student or graphics student. My kids could wipe those people out in a heartbeat.

We checked here so many times on two different days last week and there was never a photog there, even when the app said there was!

But I rarely find intentional ones amusing.

Same.

And my whole experience with photography is different since our wedding, when I found that things we liked were utterly despised by my dad and stepmom and my MIL and FIL. What one person likes another won't, and pictures aren't just for one person in a family.

And then what's worse is that I don't *like* editing everyone out of pictures, I wouldn't even edit the crane out, because the crane would have been there for my trip and to get rid of it is to lie about the trip. So I just want other people to behave like adults.

OP- I totally agree with you- people need to try and find a way without ruining others fun. Since "photo bombers" have no way of knowing how a family/person would react, they are really putting their own enjoyment ahead of others. I had someone photobomb my parents and my entire family in front of the castle for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I was not amused and l looked for this person while I was there throughout the day (noticed early when we went to view the pictures). If I had found them, I would have def. given them an earful of my non-Disney approved opinion of their action and if they would have opened their mouth to say anything other than sorry- I may have leveled them. So beware photo bombers- you never know who you may be photobombing and you could run into an intolerant jerk like myself. Don't be a toolbag and find a way to entertain yourself that doesn't involve me.

If I'm picturing their spot correctly, it isn't the rose garden. On the bridge to Tomorrowland there is an inset with some cement benches that looks down to the waters around the castle and there is usually a photographer set up there. It's physically impossible to have another person/group in that area

OK, I know the spot you're talking about. I just haven't been a fan of that spot because the wall behind is solid. I loved the Rose Garden spot because of all the green space that showed.

The area off of the Tomorrowland bridge with the bumped out spot is a good place to get a photo pass castle photo without any photobombers, intentional or accidental.

Is the place in my photo (attached) the one you mean? We found a photographer here, and it is a lovely spot. It was pretty busy early evening when the photo was taken, but just us (in any significant way) in the photo!

Photobombs will happen (both accidental and intentional) because of the crowds. I would suggest that when you take photos that you take multiples in the same location. Many cameras (cell phone and point/shoot) allow you to hold the button in and take one photo on top of another for several seconds. This can be useful for a couple of things:

1. The accidental photobomber may not be in one of them.
2. Your kids might have just the right smile.

Another thing I suggest is take 2-3 pics, then step back or zoom differently and then take another series of 2-3. Usually this allows for annoying background people to disappear and also gives a variety of photos to choose from. With digital cameras, there is no need to ever be stingy on your pics. Take tons so you can find the one that is perfect!

The more I think about this, the situation becomes more focused.

If you trip on a curb and break your leg, do you not want to get that fixed?
If your car stops running, do you not want to get that fixed?
Being angry about someone or something (intentionally or not) marring your photos and just stewing about it
when we have the ability to fix it is counter productive.
We cannot control the boorish behavior of others, not can we expect that
the backgrounds will always be free of unwanted objects.

But...

Since the shooting of photos is now so easy and inexpensive (relative to the past,)
we also take MORE of them... and somehow, expect more of them to be "good."
With the same kind of digital technology that captures the images,
we now have the ability to much more easily and far less expensively (relative to the past,)
fix any problems we find in the photos.
If I see something in a shot I don't like, I'll take the minute or two to fix it.
I bought into the shooting technology (it's just a pile of pixels, not the "real thing")
I'll use that technology to improve (rearrange) the "pixels" if I see the need.

Ok mom2rtk, that is one of the most beautiful pictures I have seen in a long time! What a wonderful pose for your daughters(?). My photography skills are non existent. I get good pictures now and then. But only by accident!

Not to mention, Dang Girl can you sew!!!
