im confused.

No it's not the same as the Camelot, the Castle Inn is further down on Harbor.

We had an awful stay there in '05, and won't go back. When we arrived there was no running water. That got fixed pretty quickly though. Then the cable was out on the TV for 4 of the 5 nights we stayed there. Said they were "working on it" every day. Asked to speak to the manager several times, and never was able to. They said they'd contact us, never did. The room was dirty, especially the carpets. Any time my DH went in the lobby there was someone complaining it seemed!

It was disappointing for us because we had stayed there when we first got married in '96 and had a nice stay. But nope, never again. It's a bit longer of a walk then those right across the street too.

Hi Jade - we've never stayed there, so can't comment on that. It is not quite directly opposite the entrance, you have to cross Disney Way on Harbor Blvd to get to the entrance (looks like it is about the same distance away as Hojo, maybe a bit closer, but the opposite direction). The rooms apparently have fridge and coffee maker, suites have those plus microwave. They have free wifi in the lobby (and courtesy computers too), and you "MAY" able to get wifi access in the rooms....

had friends stay there and said never again ever dump dump and more dump they hated it nice on outside trashy on inside and away from the park to boot.

ooookkky well humm maybe not then
maybe just stick with desert inn and get the tickets and meal vouchers with getaway today..wow thanks for fast responce.

darn it looked cute too but i had a lot of questions when found out it wasnt what i thought.

dessert inn is good stayed there 3 times now I did stay at the del sol inn and it was ok a place to lay your head and close to the crosswalk.

I booked the desert inn back in feb for oct and got it for 59 bucks a night but I had to add another day just a few weeks ago and the extra day is costing me 109 a night. That sucks but we wanted to do the trick or treat mickey so we had to stay an extra day.

ya i got mine 99 a night in jan or feb but i got the spa room
added extra night couse our bus eathier got in at 8pm the night before or 11am we want to be able to check in imeditly so were payign 140 that night

Just say NO!

It was the most awful place I have ever stayed in my entire life. And this coming from someone who traveled Europe in Youth Hostels. The floor is sticky. Yes, sticky. The towels are hard like sand paper. And there is no fridge, microwave, or anything. Just gross.

it says theres fridge and then says a microwave in the suiets rooms..but yes im just saying no staying with desert inn
ty tho the more revews that are bad the more my dh sees it is crossed off our list of never stay at like the carosle is.

We stayed there in Oct and had no problems, our rooms were very clean and it was quiet. We always had fresh towels, it was very clean basic hotel. We could not complain for the $38 rate a night we had through our base.

We honeymooned there in October 2004 and it was great. The staff was friendly and efficient and the room was clean. No problems and we'd go back.

You can see where it is by this map. I am staying at Anaheim Plaza which is next door. It is walking distance. No breakfast but Dennys is right there, it's open 24 hours and you can get take out if you don't want to sit down.

yw good luck just make sure you book extra days in case couse some times as it gets closer they wont honor the prices. 140 for one night becosue i didnt excpect to get in at 8pm lol
have fun
