Castle Inn And Suites?

Has anyone stayed there recently? We are planning a trip for August 2008 and are looking for hotels that can room five people. Any info would be appreciated!!

I have not heard very good reviews never stayed there.

Desert inn and suites is a nice place to stay.

How are their prices??? Can you walk to the park from the hotel???

Prices are 100 plus a night it looks like for aug plug in your dates and see for yourself.

The walk is right across the street it is about as close as you can get.

We stayed at the Castle Inn a few years ago, never again. Dirty carpets, running no water when we arrived. The cable was out for 4 of the 5 nights we were there. The staff was very rude, and we never got to speak to a manager, even though we asked several times.

There are just too many better, and much closer places to stay!

We've stayed there twice and never had a problem other than the elevator broken 1 day (not with us in it lol). Its about a 7 min. walk from in front of the hotel to DL bagcheck.

They have a few suites I believe but we just stayed in the 2 queen room.

we stayed here March 2007. We got a 2 room suite, very last minute since the other hotel we originally booked was too awful to stay in. We literally drove up and down Harbor Blvd calling places listed in the AAA tour book as we saw them. And we ended up at Castle Inn and Suites.. a 2 room suite for about $130.00/night. It was not fancy, but it was clean and had plenty of space for the 6 of us. Plus 2 TV's and a mini fridge, which was nice. And it was an easy walk to the parks. The best part was that when my DD17 forgot her purse in a drawer, we got a call from CI&S, and they mailed it to us free of charge, with everything intact, even the small amount of cash she had in it, and her bank card. Apparently a maid found it and turned it in to management. You can't beat that service and honesty, and I would go back in a heartbeat. The only reason we stayed elsewhere on or 2 trips since is because we stayed free on points at Comfort hotels (Choice rewards). And I will say that the Comfort Inn and Suites, and the Quality Suites on Manchester are about the same as CI&S, as far as quality of the rooms.

Anaheim Plaza is right next door cheaper more updated
