Castle Heraldry Shoppe closing Jan 12 -- possible PP FP?

Fastasyland's Castle Heraldry Shoppe is slated to close Jan 12. The folks at Fresh Baked speculate that it's going away to make room for a Peter Pan Fast Pass queue. Certainly that would be cool and much needed. I'll be there tomorrow and I'll ask if anyone there knows anything for sure.

I hope they are just expanding the queue. That would be a complete nightmare for standby times!

Why not a new "ADA" area, with a switch track, and that the boat can be parked and loaded, and then returned to the main track. That clears the current exit area, and a large area of folks waiting to board that need the special assistance. (Similar to Toy Story Mania).

I think they're going to do some version of the MK interactive queue. I haven't been in the Heraldry shop in forever, can anyone estimate the square footage?

Would they have to make the 'new' area ADA compliant (i.e. wider) or would it be part of the 'grandfathering' clause?

Spoke with a few CMs today. If there's a FP going in, they've heard nothing about it. So PP FPs now seem less likely :-(.
