You must be soooo excited  :cool1: Don't forget to take lots of photos to show us all (no I'm not jealous at all!)

The Castle Club rooms are just normal rooms on the top floors. However, they have their own reception and lounge where breakfast and afternoon tea is served. Non alcoholic drinks are free all the time. You get a much more personal service. The characters do come up to the lounge periodically at breakfast time but it is easy to just pop down in the lift to the official meet n greets. I don't think many of the CC rooms have a park view and those that do are at a premium supplement of around £100+/night, I think. The DLH does also have suites which have access to the CC facilities but would be considerably more expensive although probably have park views. As far as I'm aware you do need to ring to book a CC room. Your key card gives you access to the private lifts and take you right down to the park entrance. Hope this is of some help.

ok, so since there is NO way I can afford to stay in a suite, does it cost significantly more to stay in the normal castle club rooms?

Is there anyway to book them online or is that via phone call only?

J C Butterfly : if you look in the official DLP brochure it now sets out the prices for Castle Club. You can download it from the DLP site if you are logged in. I think it varies on the time of year you are visiting and the length of your stay.

As an example from the brochure, price for accommodation only, no transport period from 4th April - 6th November 3 days/2 nights peak season £568 pp standard room and £688 pp castle club but 3 days/2 nights in value season is £377 pp standard room and £496 pp castle club.

Here's some photos of the Tinker Belle Suite! (See below)

I also have a page on my site that's totally devoted to the Castle Club in the Disneyland Hotel (http://www.haighgannon.com/castle_club_info/index.html). I created this page because, IMO, there is very little information out there about this part of the hotel. The info on the page is cultivated from our 4 stays in the Castle Club. We've been lucky enough to stay in a Junior Suite, a Tinker Belle Suite, garden facing Castle Club rooms and Disneyland Park facing Castle Club rooms.

The Junior Suites look very similar to the the Tinker Belle suites except they're smaller and the bathroom isn't as elaborate.

In the meantime I'll have my stab at answering your questions:

1) The only suites that have good views of the Disneyland Park are the very plush Cinderalla and Sleeping Beauty suites. All Tinker Belle suites face the gardens at the front but I'm not sure about the Walt's Apartments. Some Junior Suites face the Disneyland Park but because these suites are on the lower floors you don't get much of a view (I speak from experience!). However, the Castle Club does have 3 Castle Club rooms that have a balcony and view over the Disneyland Park - we've stayed in one and they're fab.

2) All suites have one bedroom and a seperate living room that are seperated by a set of double doors. The Sleeping Beauty suite has more rooms like dining room, kitchen.

3) On arrvial you get taken up to the Castle Club to check in.

4) Yes

5) Yes, charcters do come up to the Castle Club Lounge for breakfast. Usually Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

6) Yes, you can only book for the Castle Club over the phone or through a travel agent. I prefer to call DLP direct because the staff on the other end of the phone are brilliant!

If you've got any further questions then please don't hesitate to drop my a line.

Patrick

Hi All

Am thinking of booking the castle club suites for april/may this year and wondered if you could answer a couple of questions :)

1, I have seen/read that not all castle blub suites have a view of the park? And the only way you can guarentee a view is book a suite? (I thought thats what the castle club were) or is there other suites?

2, How many bedrooms do they have?

3, Do you check in the normal way or is there a special place you go to ?

4, It says coffee/tea and soft drinks available is that all day?

5, Do the characters come up there also if you have breakfast on the castle club floor?

6, Last q :) Can you only book via telephone or is there a site that has the list of prices?

Thanks in advance :cheer2:
