Hi everyone,
Please tell me everything you know about castle club in the DLH.
A few question's i cannot find answers to......
Where do you have breakfast?
Is hot breakfast included?
What is served for ''afternoon tea''?
Does the TOT have a fast pass system?
Is the TOT now included in the VIP fast pass included with CC?
Are soft drinks availible in the CC lounge all day?
What are the opening times for the CC lounge?
TIA

Sorry Ive not stayed in Castle Club (yet!!!!) so cant answer your questions but can tell you that TOT has a FP so as far as I know it will be included in VIP FP scheme as just need to show that at any FP entrance

Hi

I can only answer a couple of questions as it 2 years since I stayed in cc.

Breakfast is served in a seperate lounge to the other disney hotel guests, this is the same lounge that afternoon tea is served in. It's on the cc floor directly above the main restaurants. There were some hot foods for breakfast the only thing I can remember dh saying they didn't have was bacon.

For afternoon tea there were cookies, pastries and drinks. My dd loved the cookies so much that when we go in June she wants to stay cc so that she can have the cookies again. I think it might be a little expensive to stay there just for the cookies though.

I can't remember the opening times for the lounge but everytime we passed it was open.

The vip fastpasses worked with any rides that had the fastpass system. HTH

The lounge was open 7am to 12pm in March last year. For breakfast they was waffles, fruit. salmon, bacon, eggs, sausages, cereal, bread etc.
Afternoon tea was mostly sweet stuff, cakes, cookies etc, occansionally they had sandwiches however not everyday and when they did they went in minutes.

Thank you everyone. Just have to wait until i can book for December ;)

As it happens I've got a page on our website that's totally devoted to the Castle Club in the Disneyland Hotel (http://www.haighgannon.com/castle_club_info/index.html). I created the page because, IMO, there is very little information out there about this part of the hotel. On this page you'll find loads of photos and quite a bit more info. The info on the page is cultivated from our 4 stays in the Castle Club. We've been lucky enough to stay in a Junior Suite, a Tinker Belle Suite, garden facing Castle Club rooms and Disneyland Park facing Castle Club rooms.

The Junior Suites look very similar to the the Tinker Belle suites except they're smaller and the bathroom isn't as elaborate.

In the meantime I shall answer your specific questions here:
1) You can have breakfast in either the hotel's main Inventions Restaurant (you need to book for this) or the Castle Club Lounge (you don't need to book for this). Both are included in the price of your stay. The Inventions Restaurant gets incredibly busy but has more characters. The smaller Castle Club Lounge is only open to Castle Club guests (obviously!) and is quieter but has fewer characters and a smaller (but more than adequate) choice of foods and drink.

Breakfast in the Castle Club Lounge - note Sleeping Beauty's Castle in the background!

2) Yes
3) Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks and a very tempting array of sandwiches, pastries and cakes.
4) Not sure, you'd have to check the official DLP website
5) You can use your VIP FP ticket on ANY FP ride/attraction
6) Yes
7) I don't think the lounge has official opening hours because I've not seen them publicised anywhere - I even have a welcome pack from our last visit and they're not in there! All I call tell you is that it's open from very early until very late! I've had a drink in the Castle Club Lounge at 12:30am

Great website-interesting idea i must say-ive not seen anything like this before-you've really put yourselves out there. i've only had a little nose at it-will read more later(meant to be doing some work lol)i agree with you on the very limited info about castle club. Your photos are are lovely -i really want to stay there now, i didn't know you get such wonderful views over the park.

The smaller Castle Club Lounge is only open to Castle Club guests (obviously!) and is quieter but has fewer characters and a smaller (but more than adequate) choice of foods and drink.

The main bonus with the characters when eating in the CC lounge is that they come to your table, whereas at Inventions the characters are outside the restaurant. The characters change every 30 minutes and we probably saw at least 2 every day.

We would choose the CC lounge over Inventions everytime for breakfast.

Can you just stay in the CC one nigth or do they have a min night thing?-i'm thinking one or two nights in CC and then the rest of the holiday in NY if it worked out ok with ticket etc

Thank you very much for your very kind comments!! Quite a bit of work has gone into making those pages and I'm glad that someone appreciates it!

That's totally made my morning!!!

Can I just add that if you have an evening meal in the Inventions restaurant then the characters do come to your table.

There's usually Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Eeyore, Tigger and Chip and Dale.

I'm pretty certain that there isn't a limit on the minimum amounts of nights that you can stay.

Hi

Just to let anyone who's subscribed to this thread know that I've just added some photos of the Castle Club to my above post.

Wow looks fantastic. Not had time to look at you site yet but will do just to see more.

Where do you have breakfast? You have breakfast in the Castle Club lounge - you just arrive anytime between 7.30am and I think it was 10.30am and help yourself! The CM at the CC lounge will come to your table and ask what drinks you would like - Hot Chocolate is highly recommended!:)
Is hot breakfast included? The Hot breakfast includes pancakes(American style) bacon and scrambled eggs.
What is served for ''afternoon tea''?Afternnon tea is to die for!:goodvibes There was a selection of cakes - cookies, fancy little cream cakes brownies and small sandwiches.
Does the TOT have a fast pass system? TOT is included in the VIP Fastpass. You can only use your VIP fastpass after 11am and 2 hours before the park closes - for us this was 5pm.
Is the TOT now included in the VIP fast pass included with CC? All fastpass rides can be used with the VIP fastpass
Are soft drinks availible in the CC lounge all day? Soft and hot drinks are included all day - its was lovely after our trip into the Disney Village to come back to the lounge and have a drink and look at the Castle lite up at night - one thing I'll never forget from this trip.
What are the opening times for the CC lounge? DH is sure the CC lounge was 24 hours but you could contact the hotel to check -after a full day in the park the latest we stayed there was 11pm.
TIA

We only stayed there 1 week ago - http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/sad06.gif
:sad1: but it seems much longer. We've decided to stay at DLH Castle Club when its mine and DH 40ths. Only 4 more years to wait!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

This was the best trip ever and was made even more magical by staying at DLH. When I get chance - still recovering from the horrible cold I caught whilst there - I'll try to put some photo's up that we took.

:cheer2: :cheer2: My bf said yes we can CC next trip!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: he was a little alarmed when i said how much tho :rotfl:

aww well it wont be untill next yr but still its exciting.

Can anyone tell me- how far in advance you can book CC? Is it adviseable to book early? not of when we will be going yet-i'm thinking of September as we dont want to go when its too busy but if we're CC it would be nice to go while theres fireworks on.

The Castle Club is available to book any time in advance but it's always wise to book as soon as you know you want to go! Don't leave it because it fills up pretty quick. Put it this way, in December '07 I booked our next trip August '08 and they were already filling up.

Please don't book for DLRP for September expecting to be able to watch Wishes because Wishes runs from 5th July to 31st August.
