Castle changing colors pics Oct 30 and MK

I decided for my birthday today I should spend it in the parks. I went over at sunset to get some pictures and enjoy an hour or two before the Halloween party.

The new paint job does not affect the castle changing colors. It looked beautiful.

These pictures were taken without flash so they may look a little grainy in spots.

Bad choice of words on my part. I wanted to show the castle in colors because some people were concerned it was going to look different now that the castle is painted another color.

I mean the paint job.

You can't really tell that it's painted a diffirent color.

Judging from these pics, i seem to like this new caslte better than the original. The way it uses light beiges, and dark blues looks very classy... reminds me a lot of the Paris Disneyland castle.. not too cartoony, but not too realistic looking. Of course, i could be dead wrong if the colors in the pics aren't accurate..

I have to say, I'm so incredibly upset over the new paint job. I don't understand why they felt the need to make it look more like Paris' castle. I don't go to Paris, I go to WDW, and I want to see the MK castle, not a Paris-ified version. Of course, we can't really tell what it'll look like until it's totally finished, but as of now... I think it looks terrible; it makes it look more fake than realistic, to me.

I guess it's just really disappointing that the castle I grew up loving is being changed seemingly just for the sake of change.
