Castle and the Crane???

We leave in 2 weeks. Any new news on the castle and crane? Is the crane gone yet or any date as to when it will be gone? Thanks

The crane was there Saturday. It is well hidden behind the Castle when not being used. It usually does not block any views or pictures.

Don't know when it will be removed.

The crane was there earlier today, and at that time unfortunatley very visable. We were in the park on the Yuletide Fantasy tour and it was about 12:30.

I just spoke with a friend that was walking into MK today and was surprised to see the crane up during the day. She was at the MK the other night...and no crane!

They used it to remove all the Gold and now are using it to paint the exterior and help with building the suite inside the castle.

We were there on Nov. 19 and my DD was so mad that the crane was there. We were wondering what was going on.

The crane is really no big deal. We were there 2 weeks ago and the crane was up. It seemed to be up in the morning and then they would lower and you didn't even know it was there. It was actually kind of interesting to watch them lower and lower the man basket doing the work. The only thing is they did not do fireworks at the castle Mickey show while the man basket was up.

The crane is still there. They opened the sidewalk on that side so they can't put the crane down. I have the feeling they will be closing the sidewalk after the holiday crowds. I figure it will be down or out of there for the parade taping this weekend.

Good thinking safetymom, it will probably used for all those high overhead shots.

I wish they would paint it a Disney theme so it is more pleasant to look at.

It was there when we went last month too, but it was not out all of the time. No big deal.
