Casting Call for Disney Vacation Club!!

I received an email from an Orlando-based production company who is producing an upcoming television program for Disney Vacation Club. They are specifically seeking families with teens or empty-nesters who use vacation as a time to reconnect.

Here is the information for those that are interested...

"Are you a Disney Vacation Club Member with grown children who have “left the nest” but still vacation with you? Do you have teenagers in your family? Do your older children have any special occasions coming up that warrant a special vacation? We are producing a half-hour television program featuring Disney Vacation Club Members and want to hear from you! To be considered for the show, your family must be a current Disney Vacation Club Member. All interested parties should send an email to Casting@GoRandom.com, including a brief write-up on your family and up to three family photos. Submissions must be received by Friday, April 23, 2010. We appreciate your interest!"

I thought I posted a reply to this yesterday, but for some reason it's gone. Anyway, as I said yesterday, "cool"! Sent my email and some pics, along with the other hundred thousand people, LOL. Wouldn't it be awesome to be picked though!

Got an email response from them today. Said they were reviewing all entries so far and would be in contact if there was a slot for our family. Kind of 'thanks but no thanks'. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

There was another production company doing the same thing a few weeks ago. They were asking for different types of DVC members, i.e. those getting married at Disney, those new to DVC, and Grandparents vacationing with grown children and grandchildren. We sent our family information and photos and were interviewed over the phone twice, but didn't hear back from them. I wonder what is going on...
