Do I have to reserve the excursion ahead of time to rent snorkel equipment or do they have plenty for a day-of decision? Thanks!

Do not book in advance. If you decide not to use the equipment on CC day for some reason, they will not reimburse it. They do not put aside kits for guests with advance bookings.
