whats your favorite thing to do at CK? has anyone not rushed to the beach and still had a good time? is their lunch on the beach?

My favorite thing to do is........nothing. While the boys rough house in the water I sit with my book (that barely gets opened since the scenery is so marvelous) sipping a drink and relax.

Our favorite thing to do is snorkeling. You can get the equipment right there on the island and go out whenever you want. Yes, there's a lunch there. When we went, it consisted of burgers, salad, punch, etc. I think there was ice cream for dessert. It's just a nice relaxing day for us.

After reading these boards I had high expectations for CC. I was dissapointed. Not sure what I thought it was going to be like, but being from S. FL where the beaches are similar, to me it was just a beach. But that is me. We did not do any of the water sport things. We were on a tight budget, so that may be why it was not so great.

I just asked my husband if he was dissapointed in CC and he said no, because he expected a nice beach, and that is what he got.

In answer to your question, we did not rush to CC, and we only stayed about an hour. We really enjoyed getting back on the ship and going into the jacuzzi. I was surprized that there were a lot of people on the ship.

My favorite thing to do on Castaway Cay?
Nothing. I love listening to the quiet at Serenity Bay. The gentle rippling of the ocean. Sunshine on my shoulders. And lobster for lunch!
