The returning gift (basic) gift is a bag. Generally a beach bag like this one:


That's on the Caribbean/Bahamian itineraries. On other itineraries the bag is different - pack pack, sling bag. You'll also get silver lanyards at check in for all silver members (that's each, the room gift is just one per room)

On our cruise in Feb we got a bag like the above one but it was silver and had a different style handle. You only get one per stateroom though no matter how many silver cruisers you have. Still an awesome gift we love ours!

That was what the bag used to be before the current burlap type bag, although it seems that they may be using up old stock on some cruises.
The bags were different colors based on Castaway Club level. These were the ones just before the one picture above (with the canvas handles)

On the Magic, last week, we got a dark blue backpack. There were 2 tumblers in it. I am platinum. It is dark blue, I know it looks grey in the picture.

We got that too. I believe that's what the "bag" was for the European cruises (including the TAs). But we only got one tumbler (EBTA) Maybe they didn't have their full shipment in yet.

We were on our second cruise in August. We got the bag like above, but we also got a stateroom gift half way through from our steward (mickey rice crispy treats and popcorn) and he made up the kids beds in special sheets (dinosaurs for my son and bows for my daughter). Assumed all of that was part of castaway club too.

Wife and I just got back from our 6th & 7th cruises (B2B Med/Trans on the Magic). We also got the dark blue rucksack with two tumblers, twice...lots to pack home. On our second DCL cruise to the Caribbean we got a true backpack. I have hauled that thing on nearly 20 DCL excursions and several hikes here in Oregon. The bottom has a few holes and the edges are worn. We keep signing up for more DCL cruises hoping to get a replacement.

No, the special sheets and the rice crispy treats/popcorn are not part of the Castaway Club perks.

I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to confirm. Just one bag per stateroom (issue with 2 kids), but will everyone get the lanyard? We are all silver.

You will receive lanyards for each person at check in at the terminal. This is for all people who've already cruise DCL at least once.

The Castaway Club gift is one per stateroom, based on the highest CC level booked in that room.

The basic gift is a bag of some sort (beach bag for Caribbean, usually).
