Castaway Club party???

O.K., I've beeen on these boards for a while as many of you know. Our last cruise was a 4 night "make-up" cruise for our cancelled Nov. 30, 2002 Eastern. Soooooo... needless to say with all of the confusion with the cancellation and rebooking the night before we were to fly out I had no clue what we were going to do on the cruise. So what is this castaway member coctail party??? Where is it and when is it? Are my DD's 13 and 11 able to go?

You will receive an invitation in your stateroom with the day and time. Ours was in Rockin' Bar D at 5:30PM. There are free drinks (both with and without alcohol) and a large table with various finger foods (coconut shrimp, egg rolls, etc.). The captain makes a brief speech and the other officers circulate with the guests. It lasted about an hour.

And the kids can attend (if you can tear them out of the clubs or away from their new friends !!)

We didn't recieve an invite last time.......probably because we did the booking the Wednesday before the Sunday cruise due to the cancellation of our sailing. I just thought I missed it.
