Castaway Club Check in

I would like to know if this is the case too!

The CC check in line is all the way to the right (if your facing the counters) the at the end of the row of check in queues. It does not really matter what line you stand in to check in. You do not need to check in at the CC line. Just get on whatever line is shorter.

I have waited longer in the CC line than others, it all depends on how long the lines are.

With all of the cutbacks in Castaway Cay privileges, you actually have to check in at Disneyland Paris! Then you have to make your way to Disneyland Tokyo to get your boarding pass, and finally to a small hut in Uruguay to get checked by security. Note, however, that DCL is not responsible for your transportation between these locations, any luggage lost or stolen, or if you are eaten by a large Boa Constrictor.

After boarding the ship, you are entitled to free drinks (salt water only) in lifeboat #42. In your room, you will be treated to a free, sumptuous meal consisting of Saltine crackers and Ketchup.

As a Castaway Club member, you are also entitled to take part in one of 2 exciting onboard activities (choose one):
Option 4R8T%D: Fix the #3 turbine
- or -
Option UGOT2BKDNG: Find the Captain's cufflink (he says he thinks he lost it somewhere on deck 5)

*Please Note: There is a small fee of 1 child associated with these activities. It will be charged to your shipboard account along with a 176,563% gratuity.

Ok, seriously, according to The Magical Disney Cruise Guide:
"Past Disney Cruise Line guests are treated with an additional level of service and recognition with a dedicated check-in at the Disney Cruise Line terminal. The check-in is currently a test to see how guests react to the "special treatment" and to measure the guest satisfaction levels and operational issues related to the desk. The desk will be located near the Cay Club Lounge at a temporary desk and if the desk is well-received, they will develop a more permanent location."

Hope this helps (or at least makes you laugh)! :D

I think the castway club check should be only for members only like at the airport. first class
buniess class and elite members that tavel alot. If you have the cc card you get to check in if not the end of the other line. If you don;t have your card then the agent that check you in should see cc member if it show up your in.

LOL!!! Jim, that was too funny! Yeah, as I read these boards, I'm kinda wondering why Disney makes such a big deal about the Castaway Club.....looks to me like they are making changes that make you feel "not so special" (ie: only one checkin line for CC--seems to me that line might be the longest!; questions about getting any pins; magazine now discontinued) Oh well, "gotta love the mouse"!

Jim,

Thanks for the laugh!! Ihope it goes smooher than that. My family is going to do the Hunt for the Capts cufflink...seems more interestng!!!:jester: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Sonya: Read my post above for exciting onboard activities reserved exclusively for Castaway Club members! :D

The salt water drinks sound yummy - Do I get more than one? Or is it one per repeat cruiser? LOL

Still waiting for my "their in the mail" Castaway Club member documents and my 2nd cruise is the 5/11 western.

We are still waiting and getting ready for cruise # 3. We have our CC# but no card and no pins. Oh well I guess we will join in the cufflink search!

We would like to sign up for the Turbine #3 repair excursion.
