Castaway Club check-in Q's

I loved my first cruise, but hated the long check-in lines!

1) Is it really quicker in the castaway club check-in line?
2) If you take the Disney transfers does this increase the length of the line?

There is a special line for castaway club members. The last time my DH and I cruised, we waited in line about 10 minutes so it was very quick and taking the Disney transfer didn't make a difference.

That's my experience.

Ten minutes sounds like heaven compared to our one hour plus in line last time. Of course we cruised that same spring of all the SARS scare and stomach flu. They screened everyone very carefully.

just checked in for the Aug 28 cruise and the CC line was about 10 minutes faster.

It depends...
Because there is only one Castaway Club check-in line and multiple regular lines, they are usually quicker. This is compounded by the fact that there are so many returning cruisers now.
And of course the lines are longer in general when a bus comes in. Try to sit towards the front to be one of the first off.
