Castaway cay

June 12th cruiser Wondering if you can reserve a beach chair at
castaway cay. I have already reserved my day room at the comfort inn
214.00 did not think that was bad. I have a family of four and it would be
that much for the excursion from the ship.

The seats at CC are first-come, first-served. The "good" ones (hammocks and such) go quickly.

Most people stop at the near end of the family beach area, so it is very difficult to get a hammock if you are not first off the ship.

However, if you go to the far end of the family beach, you will find more options. The only negative about the far end is the snorkling area is at the near end. Take a look at the map, so you understand where everything is.

You didn't indicate the ages of kids, but if they are the right age to go to the teen beach, you and SO could go to the adult beach where it is not as crowded.
