Hi, we are going on our first Disney cruise soon. My 12 year old daughter loves stand up paddle boarding. They have those for rent but only for 14 and up. Assuming she is out of luck?

I’m going to guess (don’t know for sure) unfortunately she won’t be able to do it. If it is in the area near the ship, it gets very windy. We have been out there and have seen several people having to get pulled back to shore with help. We were on the bike and worked our butts off to get back!

My daughter also misses the age cutoff. I figure I'll ask when we get there but I prepared her for disappointment by booking a two person kayak instead. Not quite the same but still a fun activity

In general, they are strict about age requirements. So if it says 14 and up, she'll have to be 14 and up.

Where the stand up paddleboards and kayaks available to rent once you got there or was the only option to rent in advance in the app?
