Castaway Cay Massage?

CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DH made me choose between indulgences - swim with the dolphins or cabana massage at Castaway Cay...hmmm??!?!

Any experts done both and have a pick?

Also, anyone know the specifics on the massage...how much? how long? etc. I know I need to book at the spa when I board...does this luxury book up as fast as the other spa services everyone rushes to book?

I am a major massage lover and spend a lot of time in the spa. But I guess I would look at it this way...I can get a massage at the spas near home, but there is nowhere to swim with the dolphins in Chicago, so I would probably go for the more unique experience. And think of it this way...you'll more beach time on the island.
But even if you go for the massage, I don't think you will be disapointed. It lasts for 50 minutes and is absolutely lovely. Perhaps you could do the dolphin swim and a shorter/less expensive spa treatment like the neck and back massage or a foot massage.

Hey...are you THE Barb of "Barb and Tony's website"...saw the link and assumed so If you are, LOVE your site! It's been amazingly helpful as we plan our first cruise! For someone who prides herself knowing EVERYTHING about WDW, going on the cruise uninformed wasn't an option. I've referred your site to all my friends in our group - we leave in a little over 3 weeks!!!

Anyway, about the massage, do you know how much it currently costs? We were all set to do the dolphins but had issues because DD(8) and I were going to do it but DS (5) was heart-broken that he could only do the "encounter" so we started thinkng we could save that excursion a few years when I KNOW we will go again!

So, I really should have asked for a comparison of the Dolphin Encounter for all of us v. my selfish, indulgent massage

If you do decide to go with the "selfish, indulgent" massage and save the dolphin encounter make sure you get straight to the salon to book it!

They do fill up fast.
