Hi!

We are sailing on The Disney Wonder on 01/08/04. I have never been snorkeling before and am thirty years old. I am a great swimmer and swam all the way through high school. I definitely want to try one of the snorkeling excursions at Castaway Cay. There is one that is the equipment rental for the day for twenty-five dollars. The other is the Seahorse Catamaran Snorkel Adventure which is forty-nine dollars and lasts two and a half hours. Has anyone tried either one? I greatly appreciate your advice. Also, are the Keys To The World water-proof. I will be going by myself on the excursion and am trying to figure out what to do with room key and identification.

Thank You!

I went on the 3-night cruise in October and my brother and I did the Seahorse Snorkel Adventure. I am 29 and have never been snorkeling before and my brother is 15 had never been either. We had an awesome time! The reefs were gorgeous and there were so many fish. We even saw a couple stingrays. We took an underwater camera and got some great pictures!!! I bought a waterproof holder to put my identification in. However everyone just left their clothes and everything on the catamaran.....there didn't seem to be any problems with it being left alone. Have a great time!

On our last two cruises we "did" the package of floats, bikes and snorkeling. It was 32.00 per person. There is snorkeling at the adult beach and the family beach and is good for ALL day.

Marathonziggy...........if you haven't been to CC before you WILL definately not regret spending the whole day there.

I snorkel every time at castaway. The "all day" is actually free if you have your own equipment. You are paying for equipment rental.

Hi Marathonziggy!!

I'm sorry, I can't help you with your question. But, I was excited to see a fellow cruiser for Thursday, so I thought I'd bop in with a, "See you the day after tomorrow at the port!!!!"

Thank You for the great advice on Castaway Cay and the snorkeling. I am thinking that I would like to try the Catamaran Snorkel adventure since it is in the morning and only a couple of hours. That way I can snorkel in the morning and spend the rest of the day exploring Castaway Cay.

Hi Michelle! Are you packed for your cruise? I hope that you and your party have a great time on the cruise. Where are you staying? I am in a category six on the fifth deck. I was going with friend, however she has come down with the flu and had to cancel. I am now sailing by myself. I will look for you at the Port :)

Take Care!

John

I'm packed and ready for this workday to end so I can head to the airport and fly away!!! We're on deck 8, cat. 04 (only because there was a fantastic discount offered for airline employees). You'll be able to find us - party of three adults with the women bouncing off the walls because we only see each other 3-4 times a year and this time we're seeing each other on a Disney cruise and a husband looking bored, embarressed and carrying all my friend's carryon! Also, you might look for us at the castoff party - we'll be on Deck 10 looking down on the fun and we'll blow bubbles at the countdown.

The next time a ship leaves Port Canaveral from the Disney terminal - we'll be on it!

Hi Michelle!

What airline do you work for? I will be staying in Cabin 5642 on the fifth deck. I am thirty years old. I hope that you and your freinds have a great time. Maybe we will run into each other.

Take Care!

Hi John!!

I'm sorry I didn't get this message in time to try to hook up with you on the ship! Wasn't the cruise grand? If I had the money, I would have booked a back-to-back right then and there!

Did you find something fun in Castaway Cay? We were disappointed our excursion was cancelled, but it meant we could buy more souviners, so it worked out ok. :p

I'm 31 and work for Southwest - I've been here just over five years in the Accounts Payable department.

Hi Michelle!

I am sorry that we were not able to meet up on The Wonder. I am happy to hear that you had a great time also. I absolutely loved The Wonder. MY excursion was cancelled as well on Castaway Cay which allowed me more time to explore the island and also The Disney Wonder. This was my very first cruise on The Wonder and I definitely would have booked a back to back cruise if I could have afforded to also :) I am definitely looking forward to taking another Diney cruise. I enjoyed the balcony and it was fun to watch the waves crash at sea against the ship especially on the return to Port Canaveral with the weather. I enjoyed all of the shows and also saw many movies in the Buena Vista Theatre. The Buena Vista Theatre is a very beautiful and well-designed theatre. I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of all the crew members. I am not sure why I was so impressed since everyone at Disney has always been so friendly. I am hoping to take a seven night cruise on The Magic. I wonder if they will offer discounts to airline employees. I have worked for Delta Air Lines for six years in Atlanta. Do you know when the best time to take a seven night Disney cruise would be for the best value?

Take Care!

John :)

I actually flew Delta my last two trips to Disney - we can't non-stop out of Dallas and I was able to get a r/t for less than $200 last Oct for a Nov flight. I volunteered to be bumped on the way home, so I had a flight voucher for this trip. I always get good service on Delta flights!

I loved Golden Mickeys - and Disney Dreams, as always, makes me cry at the end...

We took the 7 night Western in Jan last year. Rates tend to drop in Jan/Feb and during late hurricane season (Sep/Oct). I use interlinerates.com for my cruises - they are so nice and take really good care of me. This trip we worked with Gene.

If you end up on the Western, make sure your party goes on the Off-road Jeep excursion in Cozumel - it is worth every penny!!!
