Hey Guys:

What are some of the costs involved with the activities at Castaway Cay? Just want a general idea...We want to do the Sting Ray encounter and snorkle for sure....What else is good to do there?

Thanks for any info you can provide :goodvibes

Snorkeling is Free if you have your own gear. If you don't it was around $28 for the day a few years back. I think Stingray adventure is around $40. You can rent sailboats for around $20/ 1/2hr. Tube rental is like $6 for the day. Not sure about the bike rentals.

Hi, when you login to select your excursions it will give you all of the prices. We did the Stingray Rays adventure and it was awesome. They give you a brief lesson about stingrays, then you feed them and then you have about 30 minutes to snorkel with them. My boys 8 & 12 loved it and we didn't need to rent snorkel stuff because that was really enough snorkel time. My 5 year old didn't snorkel but he got to feed the stingrays. The whole family loved it!

Cookies BBQ is great and included at CC. There were some souvenirs but we didn't spend anytime shopping. You will LOVE it! If you get Rendal as you stingray host be sure to have him sing for you!

DON'T miss the Watercraft Ski Adventure. It was the highlight of our cruise (Sept 2008). I know it's a bit expensive, but it was worth every penny. I can't wait to do it again on our next cruise in Sept 2009, I am even thinking about doing it twice.

So you have to book the sting rays as an excursion? I did not think of that.

Anyone know the costs just to rent fins? Those are heavy, so if it's not too much I'd rather leave them at home and just bring the snorkel and masks.

Snorkel is $25 but I was able to get an inexpensive set for $15. Kids set were even cheaper at Big5 or ebay. Mandatory life jackets are free for the snorkel area.
