Castaway Cay and kids clubs

I did a "search" but can't seem to find anything on what activities take place for kids who have signed up for the clubs while at CC. Some of the kids we will be traveling with don't want to go in the water. Thanks for any help.

The kids who go to Oceaneer's Club and Lab on the ship can go to Scuttle's Cove onboard (there's no programming onboard while at Castaway). Scuttle's is nowhere near the water, and they don't take them there.

Scuttles cove is where you can drop off children on CC. There's a splash pad and theres often water games, but thats it for water activities. There's a whale dig, ball games, sandcastle building, capture the flag, volleyball, soccer, treasure hunts, relay races, beach parties. If they're there at lunch they'll get offered food. There's a constant schedule of activities, just like the clubs on the ship have.

And just to add... Onboard, the Club/Lab are either Open House mode or closed. Secured programming (for drop off) moves to the island until late afternoon.

Can kids come and go during the day? I'm guessing the younger ones would have to be checked in and out by a parent. Is that correct.

Its the same as the clubs on the ship, just on the island. They can come and go as much as they like. Children can check themselves is as long as they have their Oceaneer band, and have to be checked out by an authorised adult unless they have self-check out privileges (remember that the island is a lot harder to navigate than the ship if your child does have self-check out).

As bbell replied, on the island at Scuttles Cove, the kids can come and go as they would normally onboard -- that may require an adult to check them out, or if they have self-check-out privileges.

Onboard while docked at CC, kids cannot attend Open House hours without an adult present who stays with them. That is true of any open house times offered during the cruise.

Are there any teen clubs at CC? My daughter and I will be participating in the 5K and my 14 year old is not interested. He would be fine waiting at the finish line but it would be nice if he could hang out in a teen area if one exists. Thanks!

Yup, Edge and Vibe will meet up and have planned activities on the island, however, I believe that they don't meet up until later in the morning, usually after the 5k has finished...
Although, if she makes friends in edge/vibe there's no stopping meeting up with them earlier then going on to teen hideout or wherever the teens meet...

Just an FYI if your teen (under 18 years old) wants to get off the ship without an adult from his/her cabin an adult from their cabin will need to go to Guest Services and sign a paper allowing them to do so.
