Castaway Cay 5K start time?

What time does the 5K typically start? I want to sign up for parasailing as well, but I don't want totry to be running over to that right from the 5K finish line. (I could do parasailing later, but the later times available all seem to interfere w/ lunch...)

How fast do you run?

We did it this January, and it started later than the scheduled time (though I've forgotten what that was- just remember noting that the event was running late). Castaway Cay was in full swing by the time the group even got to the start line.

It's a long, hot, humid run. I wouldn't schedule any other athletic excursion for the same morning, personally. It's better to just go swimming afterwards.

I've run this race before, and I know my run pace- I just don't recall what time the race typically starts...

IIRC, we met at 8:00 on the ship. By the time we got off the ship and got everyone to the start line, I think it was close to 9:00.

That sounds like my experiences as well. We were NOT the first off the ship by any means, for any of the free island runs.
