Castaway Cay 5k Question

Hi!

My boyfriend and I are sailing on the Dream in August. He really wants to do the Castaway 5k, but I'm not too keen on running in the tropics in August. If only he registers and runs the race, will I also be allowed to disembark the ship when he does in order to wait at the finish line to take pictures, or do I also need to run in order to tag along?

If you want to guarantee to get off together, just sign up for it too. It's free and they can't make you run. Just disappear to the beach while the run is going on and meet up at the finish line....
