Cast member tickets and FP+

Does anyone have any info on this? I'm told I can't book ahead of time or link them to MB.
Would it be better to have one person set up FP+ at kiosks while the rest do some standby? Is that allowed? Would it have to be the CM that sets up the fpp?
We're going spring break, how long are the kiosk waits in the am?
Also, once I enter with the cm, if I want to park hop does the cm have to hop with me?

CMs cannot prebook for now, and no one knows when they will. For now, it's same-day kiosks for FPs.

I used CM tickets in September and yes, the CM did have to come with us to park hop. The CM is supposed to stay with the party the whole time and apparently many hadn't been doing so, so Disney changed the policy.

One person can do all the FP booking but they need all the tickets.

No it doesn't have to be the CM.

No the CM doesn't have to hop with or stay with you at all if you are family. If you are not family then yes they must stay/hop with you. You have to give them back their passes at the end of the day as they are reusable passes.

Actually the rules are clear. Family is fine to be on their own. Friends are not.

My mom just used our main gates to take the kids to EP. DH let her in at AK because he had to go to work and they then immediately left and went to EP. She didn't need to be accompanied.

They really didn't "change" the policy, that is the way it was stated for at least the 5 years I've been there. Might be followed a little bit more now than before but not by much. Still not "necessary" to stay with the party, Guest Passes will work without the CM MEP after they have been activated for the day.

Just family. My mom and I have different last names too. and I read something that said aunts, uncles, cousins,etc were fine to be on their own in the parks. It won't be an issue IMO.

Thanks for the responses guys! Obviously we'll try to be together most of the time but it's nice to know I won't have to be stuck in MK the whole trip.
