Cast Member Pins... Where to buy?

I've heard you can buy "cast member pins" with your name on it and, possibly can personalize it for unusual names. Where can I buy them and can I buy them ahead of time? What has been your experience with wearing them?

The Christmas shop in Down town Disney has them. You can call them to order them ahead of time. They will ship or hold it till you arrive to pick them up. Just have a credit card ready. We did it last Christmas time and picked them up on the way from the airport.

Are you referring to Guest of Honor badges?
You can buy those at MGM too! The gift shop on the right as you enter the park

You can also order them on line and have them sent to you before you leave.. I have used them since we have a bunch of unusal names in the familyand did not want to wait for them to be made at the parks.
I know they cost a little more this way and you have to pay for shipping, but my time was precious to us at WDW and we did not want to have to wait to get them. This way we had them on from the first minute we hit Disney.

If you are talking about the name tags, yes, you can get them at MGM and the Christmas Shop at DTD.

However, if you are talking about the Castmember pins that you put on your lanyards, guests can get them by trading with those who may already have them... or with CM's who may have them on their lanyards. They are castmember exclusive, and may only be bought by castmembers at places specific to them.
