Okay guys, I have a question about the Cast Member Parties this year. They are on Monday, December 8th and Tuesday, December 9th. The park closes at 6:00PM on both of those days. Is there anything else I should know if we’re going that week? Are the crowds any better since the park is closing early?

We normally go on weekends but are trying for a weekday trip so we can experience the parks without the weekend crowds.

Any help would be wonderful. Thanks! :)

We'll be in the parks December 7th-9th and assumed the parties were on the 8th and 9th because of the early closure. But I wasn't 100% for sure. I'm hoping the parks aren't too busy those days since it closes before the locals get off work. :rolleyes1

Nope... It'll still be busy.... The only difference will be that everyone will be pissed off because they don't know why the park is closing so early! The 6th and 7th will be the worst days though with the Candlelight Processional. :thumbsup2

Poo. We're arriving Monday, but I'm sure a lot of the Candlelight Processional people will at least be there that day leftover from the weekend. Maybe Tuesday will be better?

It's either that week or the week before. But it looks like the week before might be a bit more crowded, the hotels are more expensive that week than the following week. Meh, who knows. There's no such thing as an "off season" anymore at DLR. Not even the weekdays are safe. :headache:

Ouch, bad planning by me. We are arriving on Sunday and leaving Wednesday.

Sunday might be a mad house, but if you're not there to watch the CP, just aviod Main Street. Maybe just take the Monorail to DTD to get out of the park.
