Hello everyone I had no clue where to post this so I did it here
I am going to WDW in May with an ESPN cast member. I know that he is getting all 4 of us in for free. I was wondering though if you are able to hop with cast memeber entrance or is it too complicated. Also do you go in the normal entrace or a different entrance?? I should probably be asking my ESPN friend but he is extremely buys right now with the Sweet 16 and such basketball things.
Does anyone know anything about going to WDW with a CM??
Please let me know

Thanks a ton!

Nicole

Depends on the ticket. Some tickets require the CM to get you in the gate. My niece and nephew were able to hop after we got them in with a CM pass. The CM pass we had didn't require the CM to get us in the gate. There is a turn style marked as Cast Member entrance in each park, just look for the sign above the turn style.

It depends what kind of ticket he is using. Most CMs have a Main Gate Pass which the CM has to be present to let you into the park through the CM Entrance, which is with the regular entrances. They scan his Main Gate Pass, and will stamp your hand and give you regular looking park tickets. If you want to leave and go to a different park, you can go to any turnstile and just use the ticket they gave you and show them your hand stamp.
If he is using Comp tickets, then he doesn't need to go with you the first time - it works like a regular park ticket.

We just visited WDW March 5-12 and we have cousins who work there that got us in free part of the days and this is how it worked. He had his CM card, we all went up to the CM entrance, they processed his card and the machine spit us each out a ticket just like you would get if you bought a one day park hopper at the ticket counter, it looked the same and everything and would allow us to hop between the parks, use any of the tranportation, etc. Was really quick and easy. Cousin usually went in with us and walked around a few minutes talking to my dad (his mom and my grandma were sisters) and then tell us to have fun and he went on about his day.
