Cast Member discount

Hi there!

I'm looking for some fellow UK cast members or US cast members to help me out here if possible! I'm trying to price up Disney for Jan 2013 for myself and my family. I'm aware that I can book up to 3 rooms at a discounted rate. Unfortunately, we don't yet have access to the Hub so I have to do everything through quotations. Disney haven't yet got back to me but I'm terribly impatient!



Do any fellow cast members know whether the discount covers tickets and dining? I've priced up what it would cost with discount for the hotels we'd like to go to room only. But obviously with package deals (hotel + tickets + dining) there is a further saving to be had. Does anyone know if CMs are still eligible for the free dining/upgrade between plans with the discounted room rate?

Eg. If we were to book for the CBR at the cast rate, can you buy your tickets at the same time and be eligible for the £15/day upgrade to the DDP or do you have to pay full rate for the DDP?

Any info would be appreciated!

I have never taken advantage of CM rates for WDW but as far as I know there are no discounted 'packages'

You may be eligable for a discount on the rack rate of the room and depending on whether it is offered at the time of your travel, maybe a discounted DDP.

I am a fairly new CM so others may know more but as far as I know there is only a 5% discount on gate prices for tickets - I got a quote for a 9 day ticket and even with the discount is ended up more than our 14 day ultimate.

I think sometimes, the deals that we get as a package over here are better than the CM discounts - especially if you get free dining etc..

If you have access to the Cast page here, maybe pop over there and ask if someone can check the HUB for you.
