I know that they sell "guest of honor" badges as souveniers, but what color of badges do the real cast members wear? I'd like to tell my kids to go to a person wearing XXX colored badges for help if they get lost. Do all cast members wear the same color of badges in all of the parks?

Along this same lines....on my first day which will be MK, where do that have these personalized name tags? I was thinking of putting my cell phone on the back in permanent marker in case my DS4 gets lost. TIA

Pixiedust34- CM's nametags right now are a white background with a blue border. They are supposed to change soon (around October or so) but I am not sure what they are changing to. The guest of honor name tags I think are normally red... either way, they aren't a white background.

The guest of honor nametags can be found on main street. I'm not exactly sure where, my guess would be the Emporium.

Sometimes CM's may wear old nametags, depending if they forgot theirs...some of them are while with red around the edges and Mickey in the middle, other's may be the 100 Years of Magic. I would say it's a safe bet for you to tell you child to go over to anybody who has a name badge on that might be behind a counter or in front of a ride in a costume. When I worked there, I had very few missing children, but when I did, I always told them that they did the right thing finding a CM to tell.

There are several different varieties of the Guest Of Honor name badges available. They include Buzz Lightyear, Tinkerbell, Mickey Happiest Celebration On Earth, Stitch and Princess.

Buzz is on a blue background. Tink is on a purple background. Mickey is on a gold background, Stitch is on a gray background and the Princess are, of course, on a pink background.

Every CM name tag I ever seen has had white background. This would be HCOE, 100 yrs of magic, whatever other thing was going on during my trip.

GoH badges can be bought at Days of Christmas in DTD, 5&10 at MGM, Uptown Jewelers in MK.

that's right, all different colored backgrounds. I bought ours at downtown disney- in the embroidery area at the back of the christmas shop. They also had them in world of disney when I was there too.

My CM badge was white with blue border.
