Cast List

Have you ever had to wait on a Cast list/Sports list to see what part you got/if you made the team??

I have and am! We're doing this show called The Mikado... and I really want this part called Katisha. The cast list is going up this afternoon... so i'll probably be on the DIS all day going insane.

This is a thread for you to talk about your cast list problems and just to talk about today to help me from going insane!!!!

Oh it annoys me.
Whenever I tried out for drama, it took them like 2 weeks to make up their minds.
Whenever I did volleyball, we had to have like four try outs.

Oh I know. Thank goodness this time the director only took 2-3 days. I've seen this same man take 1-2 weeks. Its insane when you have to wait.

I applied to a vocational school in December. The applicants had to take an entrance exam in mid-January. Acceptance letters were recieved on February 28th. That was hard to deal with.

Thanks. Earlier I watched my favorite show and read.
Now i'm reading the DIS and.... listening to The Mikado soundtrack.
And then i'll be riding my bike and listening to music.

I always have to wait since I do so many plays. I've gotten used to that.

Waiting for The Nutcracker was pretty lame, too. All 3 years. It took about a week for them to put out the list.

And when I did cheerleading it was the worst. But it was always nice to see my name under than Varsity list...

Actually, I jsut finished waiting for a cast lsit, Mon/Tues were auditons for the spring show we do. Unfortuantely I didn't make a part, but I am Assissant Directing, so thats not too bad, I do really wish I could have a part. I'm hopefully going to look into some community theatre shows for the summer!
