I'm popping in tomorrow for a visit before I have to go back to school, and I noticed this on the schedule. It's the first time I've ever heard of the Cast Hero Pre-Parade, but I never really catch the Parade of Dreams. Any one have some insight?

I know that they usually showcase characters from upcoming movies, so I'm unsure. Cast-member related, maybe?

Hmm, no clue. I saw the Giselle pre-parade the Prince Caspian pre-parade but a cast hero pre-parade? never heard of it.

I haven't heard of it either and it must be brand new because there wasn't a pre-parade on Sunday.

I Have been gone for a family emergency for awhile to be with family back home. From what i have read its to celebrate 2 CM who are heros. 1 who pulled a man out of an overturned semi, another who talked a man out of jumping off a freeway overpass. HTH

Disney Employees Honored in Parade Down Main Street

"During a parade down Main Street in Disneyland today, Disney honored two employees who have recently been recognized as local heroes. Robert Olvera, an ager and painter at the Disneyland paint shop, and Juan Morales, a server at Hook’s Pointe, have both been called heroes for saving the lives of two different men."

Hmmmmm, they look a little like Chip & Dale to me. :rolleyes1

What a horrible pic. You can't even see the "heroes" in it. Just the "Mayor of Disneyland" and the driver. :sad2:

Wow, that gave me chills. It is nice to know that hero's do exist. I am glad that Dl did so much to represent these great men. I hope that the men who survived have long and happy lives.
What a good day to be a DL fan.:thumbsup2
