Cast for Shows

Just wondering if anyone has any type of Playbill for the shows on the Magic. Went on the August 14th Magic, and loved the shows. The talent were all Broadway caliber, and I was just wondering about backgrounds and biographies of the wonderful (or should I say Magical?) singers and actors.

I don't have a playbill, but if you there is one, surely someone here will have it. It would be wonderful if you sent a note or card to the cast of the shows that you enjoyed so much. Something like that would mean the world to those actors. I was a performer at Club Med about 11 years ago (yipes) and I still think about this one family in particular who wrote to us. I remember the father's name was Robert and the daughter was Christine...it just touched me so much that we had made such an impact on their vacation. And it certainly doesn't hurt to feel validated as a performer.

Sometimes we don't think our words will have much impact on others, but they do. Here's an opportunity to say thank you for making your vacation so memorable!!

Don't have any info like a Playbill but I do have a CM story (I hope) that you might find interesting.

This past Feb. we were in the DCL bus on the way to PC to board the Magic. As the video was playing this young man and young woman were laughing. I then overheard them saying "there I am" several times.

Being a social person I then asked them if that was them. They said it was them in the various shows(he played PP and she was one of the Muses amongs others). They had never seen the video so they were very surprised.

They were cruising that week to visit their friend who was the dance captain. They were on the 2nd cast to be on the Magic(first replacement cast). They both live in NY and do shows wherever and had done some smaller roles on Broadway. In fact after the cruise she was off to Cleveland to star in a show.

The cast is very talented and the shows are great! It is a good starting place for some young entertainers to start putting together a resume.

As my brother is in the shows, I'll certainly find out from him whether they do have bios on all of them in a playbill format or something like that.

I agree with ma2patrick - they certainly would appreciate hearing that they have done a good job, because as we all know, the mouse definitely outshines them
