Does anyone know if it is possible to get a meal "to go" from this location? I did see they have a grab and go section, but I am wondering about their actual sandwiches/meals.

The situation is that we are flying in early, so we are going to have breakfast at the airport before heading on to Disney. The rest of the family is planning on heading to the main terminal and finding something at the food court. So, I don't really want to do a sit-down meal. But, I am hoping I can get something to go and catch up with them at the food court.

You can get one provided your flight is arriving from one of the gates by Cask and Larder because it is located past security. So you would need to be arriving from gates 100-129 otherwise security will not let you on that part of the terminal because you do not have a ticket to flight out from that air side you only have a ticket to arrive at MCO not fly out of MCO on that day. Plus this is not a quick service place so you will have to place an order and wait for it to be cooked. So you would have to phone the others to let know when you are on your way back to them so they can order their food.

Yes....well hopefully. We are flying Southwest, so we SHOULD be flying in those gates, but.....I know sometimes things get switched around. But, we should be, I will say.

Yes! You definitely can. A always fly Southwest and stop by Cask and Larder for a “to go” meal all the time. You can walk up and order at the hostess stand or bar, and they’ll pack it up for you. I highly recommend their cheese grits!

Hurray, sounds awesome. The fried chicken sandwich is calling my name, but we'll see what my mood is when I get there.
