As always my wife is disapointed that there are no casinos on board the Disney Magic and noticed in one of the guide books that there are casinos in St. Maartin (One guide book says that there are 4 within walking distance of the port where the Magic docks).

Has anyone visited these casinos? What was your experience? Any suggestions on which one to visit, and why?

Thanks in advance for your experience and advice.

We didn't go, but one of our tablemates did. He said he had a pretty good time. I don't remember if he won anything or not.

Yes, they are very convenient, easy to get to. I don't remember if there is one directly at port. I do know that when you take the water taxi in (5 min. $ per person all day unlimited), there is one as you exit to your left. And then the others are also within walking distance.

When you look at maps, the area seems bigger than it really is.

We walked in them, but didn't gamble. There were several, right in the shopping district, you shouldn't have trouble finding one.

They are very small, nothing fancy or Vegas like splashy, but sometimes those can be the most fun. Some slot machines, some table games.

The one thing that I remember seeing that I thought was unique was that at one Casino they were playing Bingo -- All over the Casino. You bought your cards and just sat anyplace to play. So there were people playing Slot Machines and Bingo at the same time, and others playing Blackjack and Bingo at the same time.
