This is my first trip report, the cast is myself 50 years Young & DW 47 years OLD.
We are travelling on 5th September 2008, returning on 21st September 2008.
Staying at Walt Disneys Caribbean Resort on the Dining Plan. This is the first time we have taken the Dining Plan. We first went to WDW in 1998 & this is our 6th visit and the first time we have not taken our DS 22 years old & DD 20 years old, but our DD will be at WDW staying at All Star Music with her DBF from September 4th for 14 nights, so as you will see from my report we will be meeting them over there for diner.

Friday 5th September.

Rise from bed at 8am, shower & breakfast before taking our DDog honey (Japanese Akita 8 years old) to the kennels at 9.15am.
Arriving home at 10pm a quick check over the house, locking all doors and windows.
Taxi to the station at 10.30am, for the 11.05am train to London Liverpool Street, arriving at 01.15pm. Catch the underground to Farringdon Station and the train to Gatwick Airport. Arriving at the Airport at about 3pm. Check into the Softeil Hotel. Unpack our overnight clothing and then out to the airport to have a wander around the shops and viewing area. Dinner tonight will be at Weatherspoons with a couple of pints to wash it down. We will retire early to bed as we have a 6.30am check-in the next day. We are flying by Monarch Premiar. We love the extra leg room, complimentary bar and priority baggage pick up.

Saturday 6th September.

5am wake up call. Shower & pack over night clothes. Head for check in & hoping for window seats. Once checked in & through Security. DW always very nervious of security espically after being searched a couple of trips ago. Head for the bar for a sausage bagette and orange juice.
We will then take a seat upstairs in the old smoking area, as you can get a good view of the planes coming in & taking off from here. I hate this part of the day untill it is time to tgo to the gate, as at this point I know the plane is not delayed and would hate to miss some Florida time.
Hopefully plane will take off at 9.30am ( any one else on this flight MON 329?) Arriving at Sanford around 02.25pm Disney time. We hate driving in the US so it will be a coach or hopefully if we are lucky taxi transfer to the CBR. Hoping to arrive around 4.25pm. Checking in, at this point, me & my DS usually head for parks but this time me & DW will have a wander around the grounds to get oursleves familar to the resort, this is the first time we have stayed at CBR. We have a ADR at Shutters for 8.30pm; although we wanted it for 8pm, this is the only ADR time we were unable to get. Early to bed tonight about 10.30pm, as we are planning to go to MK for the rope drop in the morning.

Part 2 to follow.

Hi Colin. We went on bus transfer in aug 05 at a cost of £35.00 each (£110). The coach was late & we had a very poor & long journey. In May o7 we had Tiffany Town Cars, driver waiting for us on arrival, shop stop, for water, beer & juice & a lovely relaxing & quick journey for $190. You tip separately. I know there's just the 2 of you so saving not as good but still may be worth it. Also we're staying at CBR this Aug.

Sharon, We have already booked a coach transfer, as we have on all our trips to WDW but when we went in 2003 we were transfered in a taxi, I think we must of been the only party going to WDW off our plane, so we got lucky & had a taxi,so we are hoping this might happen again this year.

Town cars for $190 and more then two of you is a good deal. Hope you have a good trip in August. Are you going to do a trip report?

Yes, there's 3 of us so it works out well. Don't think I'd be up to a trip report, but will do a pro's & con type thing. Not that I notice many cons, Disney brings out my positive side.

Sounds like you will have a great time:thumbsup2 We are at CBR from 20th Sept, we are using a taxi transfer:thumbsup2
