I agree! I really hope Kira can make it through all this stuff!

I agree. I'm hoping she, and any other non-fradulent shift code sites can rebound soon.

Some of them won't recover because they don't have the membership base or anything that really sets them apart from everyone else. In fact, I have already heard through the grapevine of at least a few that will be announcing they are closing soon.

But Kira will make it through. She hasn't just focused on the short-term quick buck. She's invested the time to learn about affiliate marketing on the whole. And she has created a site that even though on the inside it is the same script truly has "stickiness" to it because of its vibe. I'm confident she will be one of the ones that will still be around after all of this.

I stopped doing CD when I found SR. Tried to cash out for the miniscule amount of money I had and never received that. I know a lot of people have had great sucess over there, but apparently it just wasn't a good fit for me. Makes me even more grateful for Tricia and SR and how wonderful everything is over there!

When did you cash out on CD? If you started on SR in June-I'm guessing in June? All June w/d's will be sent out on July 30.

Staying put..

To answer a question I have gotten several times already today: No, I am not planning on closing CashDuck.

The GPT world is not what it was six months ago. Traffic is way down, there are a lot fewer offers that pay a lot less, and there's a lot more fraud causing a lot more problems. This is very disheartening to me, and even more so that traffic went WAY down when I announced the recent changes with the check policy and payment schedule. There are a great many people who want offers to stay around and to be able to continue to make money, but are not willing to support sites that enact policies aimed at helping to sustain the GPT industry.

This is part of the reason that I am opening up the new shopping site this weekend - new blood needs to come to CashDuck, because the old sources just aren't what they used to be.

I won't put on a happy face and say that running CashDuck is easy these days. Despite having a lot less traffic, I seem to have more users with problems, more prizes to mail out, more administrative issues to deal with than ever. My office is a humongous mess, as I've been trying desperately to catch up with the day to day issues of the site while still working on new things, bogged down by time away and illness. Things definitely need to change, and I don't know what I'm going to do - but for the time being, I'm not going anywhere.

I just logged in a checked, it was put in June 14th. So I guess there's still some hope that those 3 Disney Dollars will show up! If they do great, if not, it wasn't money that I had before. I'm not knocking CD by any means, it just wasn't the best option for me and I'm not up for keeping exact track of what offers I've done where, so it's best for me to be a one site girl

oh, I know you didn't mean it like that - I just read what I originally wrote and saw how it could come off poorly and that wasn't my intention at all.

It'd be great if those Disney Dollar showed up though!
