Hi folks,

We are new at this DVC stuff and have a question someone here may be able to answer for us. We now have 200 points with a home of VWL. We have a couple of reservations for next fall and winter lined up with the points.

Here is where we need your help. We would like to do a 70 point add-on. My wife and I would like to take a long weekend without the kids to use up the add-on. What we were looking at would need 73 points. The question: Is it possible to use the 70 points and pay cash for the 3 points?

No, there is no way to make up the difference with cash.

Borrow from next year.

Rent on the rent/trade board. That may be difficult since you would really need the points transfered to your account and a member may only take part in a transfer, in or out, once per year.

Post a request on the rent trade board. SOmeone may see it with a few points expiring.
